    Hey Guys,

I wonder if someone can help me. I’m at my wits end!

I’ve recently upgraded to WordPress 2.6.3 and I wanted to install a
captcha plugin on my comments to prevent some of the spam mail I am
    getting.

Unfortunately, for some strange reason none of the captcha plugins
seem to work – including reCaptcha.

When I say don’t work…nothing appears beneath my comments form on
each post. I’ve put the public and private keys in and followed all
the instructions. I’ve also deleted cookies and reset the browser to
    make sure.

    I’m using the default theme.

Is there anything else anyone can suggest?

    Many thanks,

    Graham

Do you have any type of Cache Plugin? Have you flushed it since enabling reCAPTCHA? And you’re sure you have your settings set correctly so that it shows up correct? Perhaps it would be easier to see a screenshot of your settings (Censor the keys if you like).

What sort of plugins have a cache? What should I do if I find them?

Which setting page should I make a screenshot of? the plugin settings?

    Many thanks,

    graham

The caches could be wp-cache or wp-super cache. If you don’t have them then simply flushing your browser’s cache should suffice.

Take a screenshot of reCAPTCHA’s plugin settings page (To see what your settings are), make sure to remove your public and private keys.
