Problem: homepage post not showing links – select post title shows links

A little guidence would be much appreciated.

I’m trying to determine how to go make my home page post show hyperlinks. I can’t tell if the there’s something amiss with the ‘more’ function or if I’m i.e. full length with links formatting etc. It appears that links are getting stripped out but the formatting is removed but if I nav through the Title or look at the RSS the links are intact.

I’ve read through Codex The Excerpt Basics but I wasn’t able to make out what could be the problem.
