Issues with Install

Hello.

I’m getting this error when attempting to install the plugin:

wp-config.php is not writable, please make wp-config.php writable – set it to 0777 temporarily, then set back to its original setting after this plugin has been activated.

I’ve verified that the permissions on the file are set to 777 and I’m still receiving the error. Not sure what to do?
