Footer problems

  • Hello!

    So there’s this strange thing happening on the footer of the site I’m working on using this theme. Its the opposite of a sticky footer and extends for awhile, all with a black background. I took a screenshot, but am unable to upload on here…

    Any ideas? There is currently no widgets or anything in the footer, just the copyright text.

    Hey! Thanks for your response. Actually – it can be viewed here: https://bvfpa.ca (scroll down past the footer)

    It only seems to happen on Google Chrome. I updated my browser and cleared the cache, but still nothing. Seems fine on Firefox and Safari. Strange.

    You have the below CSS in your WordPress admin (customize -> Additional CSS)

    body {
    background-color: #000;
}

    Remove this CSS and your will solve.

    Hey! Thanks for this. I gave it a try, but no luck ??
    It only happens when you land on the page in Chrome. If you resize the window, it goes away. But that’s not ideal UX obviously. I’m going to keep looking into it and see if there’s something I can do. Thanks!

    we couldn’t reproduce this issue on our demo and when now we revisited your site it seems to be reset to a default WP install
