• Word Press puts each new post on top of another so I have an endless long page. One has to scroll down to read all the posts. How do I limit number of posts per page before WordPress starts a new front page? Can I move posts off main page and to Archives?
Also want PLAIN ENGLISH explanation of <<continue>>type link so I can put an excerpt on main page then continue the post on a secondary page.

  • Limit No. of Posts:
    – Go to Admin dashboard, Settings > Reading – Set Blog pages show at most: put in Number of posts you want in there. Take note that whatever number you place there will also be the number of posts you will have in your Archive, Category, etc. pages.

    Excerpts:
    – In plain English, it all depends on the theme you are using which obviously doesn’t have that feature. There are two ways where you can create the excerpt – through template file change or read more. Clear instructions given in that link.
