• Is there any plugins that allow users to add plugins and themes through the front end rather than ftp to the server?

I have setup a wordpress blog for someone but I don’t really want to give them that much access to the server.

    Thanks

I think I misunderstood your post before replying. Sorry, this plugin is for admin only AT THIS TIME however he is WORKING on options that I think will allow what you are looking for. Just follow the above link and read about it and you will see what I mean.

WP 2.7 has plugin install support built in.

And that is a GOOD thing, thank you programmers, But it is only for plugins so wp-easy uploader plugin is still a good option even for 2.7 if you do not want to go through the hassle of FTP for your Themes or any other file for that matter. I tried it on my 2.7 test site and it works without a problem.
