Posting by Author Problem

    I recently had to reinstall WordPress. I set myself up as the administrator. I posted some content. I added a couple of user as editors.

    The problem I am having is that now when I try to post it won’t let me post as myself. I am signed in as admin, but when I look at the “Post Author” dropdown it only shows the other two users, but not me as an option.

    Can someone help me figure this out?

  • Try adding a nickname for yourself. (It worked in previous versions)

    Ok, here is a continuation of my problem. I added the nickname and it worked perfectly, but now all of the sudden it is giving me the same problem again.

    Does anyone have more insight on this?

    I found the workaround. I went into users and again changed my role to admin and it worked.
