No Way to Administer NextGen Gallery

  • I have WordPress 2.6.3 and installed the NextGen Gallery plugin 1.22 but am having problems getting the administration feature to appear within my dashboard. I’ve installed it correctly I presume as I am able to activate the plugin, but I do not see anything resembling “gallery manager” as hinted in the screen shots. Please help, as I can really use the features of what appears to be a remarkable gallery slideshow plugin.

    Nevermind. I figured out what I did wrong. There are two NextGen Gallery items to activate: The NextGen Gallery and the NextGen Gallery Widget. I had only activated the widget. Hope this helps anyone else to learn from my mistake.
