    Hi,

I noticed that my MailChimp registration feature was being exploited after viewing the ‘Debug Log’ feature within ‘MailChimp for WP’ plugin. After installing your excellent plugin (+adding a ‘recaptcha’ step after email acceptance click), you appear to be stopping literally hundreds of bot attacks on this feature and MailChimp have re-enabled registration for proper registrants, many thanks!

However, with the ‘Debug Log’ still set to full, I am still seeing the following error message from the MailChimp for WP widget ‘[2017-04-05 12:28:42] INFO: Form 61 > Submitted with errors: spam’ every few minutes. Should I be concerned? Are these attempts being blocked and your plugin is sending informational messages to MailChimp for WP?

    Hi @burnsj,

Glad to hear you are happy with WPBruiser. Yes, the attempts are being blocked by my plugin.

WPbruiser detects the spam, stops the registration and informs MC4WP that the request is spam and… because you enabled the Debug, MC4WP logs that.
Adding the recaptcha step… it will lower your conversion. I don’t think it’s necessary over there. WPBruiser stops all your spam/fake requests.
On the other hand, if you have few seconds to write a short review. I’ll really appreciate it.

    Cheers,
    Mihai
