Old Price in discount products NOT showing

  • About the update to 3.0.
    We had some small issues (old price in product) which we discused here with the support team, i have to admit excellent support, and the next day they released the 3.0.1 update whick corrected the the problems!!!
    My problem with the chekout page was beacause of another plugin (Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang Integration).
    Also the support team hepled me to figure it out!!!
    So I must say that Woocommerce is ans an excellent e-shop plugin for WordPress and does EXCACTLY what it says!!!
    It is very wise to read the realese notes and ALWAYS backup everything before updating!!!

    I’ve read the notes , but i still why we can’t have the striked out OLD price so the customers will UNDERSTAND the discount

    When you choose a variation in the dropdown, the old price/new price should still be shown. If not, wait for 3.0.1 because some edge cases needed a fix.

    it doesn’ show the old price when i choose product variation , and another problem is at the checkout i get “internal server error”

    This will help find a conflict https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-debug-issues-after-updates/ Enable debug and view the checkout, then act on the error it reveals.

    @500web We tweaked variation prices in 3.0.1. Please take a look.

    Did you look at the logs to find the checkout error yet?

    Hello again, i enabled the debug and the error i get is : “The WC_Shipping_Zone::get_zone_id function is deprecated since version 3.0. Replace with WC_Shipping_Zone::get_id.”

    i can’t find the solution … i searched the files but nothing

    @500web that timing. This means a plugin you have installed is using a deprecated method. I don’t know if that would cause error 500 – usually not, but if you disable your extensions and retest you should be able to narrow down the culprit.

    The version 3.0.1 is corrected a lot of things!!!! the prices are back etc!!!
    I am also on emails with the support of my theme , waiting for their answer too… the strange thing is that even i get the Internal Server Error, the order is completing normaly. I mean the customer gets the email with the order, the order is visible is Woocommerce->Orders. the problem is that the customer doen not see the last checkout page with the details of the order… he sees a red fonted Internal Server Error

    Look in your logs for anything that says ‘fatal error’.

    I’ve been searching all the time for that…i can’t find anything with “fatal error” . I am pasting the error log from my server “AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: The WC_Shipping_Zone::get_zone_id function is deprecated since version 3.0.     I think you need to do some ruling out in that case. I’d start with “Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang”. Let me know if you find a conflict.

    FYI I think the notice is not doing this, but something is definitely breaking the redirect.

    Hello again!!!
    You were ABSOLUTELY right!!!!
    The problem is with “Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang” when i disabled it , everything worked perfect… The only problem is that i need this plugin for multilanguage variations… I have allreadey contacted Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang to get some help…
    I want to ask you is there any other plugin you may know, that syncs the variables and SKU of produvts between languages ???
