@bbhank I’m not affiliated in any way with the makers of this plugin, woocommerce or anything else that you might buy, just another consumer of these products like you. I’m also a web developer so I do understand these products quite well. I can see you are upset and I want to let you know that woocommerce is a very complicated program, so when they say “this is a major update” like they did for 3.0, that is a warning to update with caution. The ONLY way to update woocommerce (or any plugin really) and be sure everything is going to be OK is to create a full copy of your site somewhere else, do the update on that site and test. If your site going down means money lost, then it makes sense to go through this extra trouble. Your host may be able to help you set up a copy of your site for a small fee – it’s really not a big deal, and could save you a headache like this down the road. Then, if something goes wrong, you can post to this forum and get it fixed before you make any changes to the live site. Hope this helps!
