Number of comments not showing

    The situation is as following. I did a re-setup of my blog, using wordpress 2.6. Already wrote a few entries showing the amount of comments correctly.

    Yesterday, I migrated from my old WordPress 2.3 using the integrated export engine.
    Everything went pretty smooth, all entries and comments are there, dates are also fine.
    But when it comes to the older, imported postings, I don’t get the number of comments, but they are there in the single page…
    Take this one for example: . According to it, this post doesn’t have any comments. But if you get into the entry (by clicking the title), you can see the comment.

    I’m getting my comments like this:

    <?php comments_popup_link('Keine Kommentare', '1 Kommentar', '% Kommentare', 'commentsheadline'); ?>

    Was the comments-tag different in v2.3? Help would be great, since there are about 170 comments and I want them to show up ??

    UPDATE wp_posts P SET P.comment_count = (SELECT count(C.comment_ID) FROM
wp_comments C WHERE C.comment_post_ID = P.ID AND C.comment_approved = '1');

    …did the trick. Simply execute it in your database ??
