Problem on write post/page page: editing icons disappearing

    Hi,

    For some reason, many of the standard wordpress posting editing icons have disappeared off of my posts page. I had installed tinyMCE at one point to add a bunch but then noticed that several (such as ‘paste as text’ and ‘paste from word’ were gone). I deactivated tinyMCE but my display shows only a handful of the standard editing icons.

    I didn’t change anything else but have no idea what happened or how to fix the problem.

    I tried reinstalling MCE from scratch through wp-includes/js/tinymce but the problem still persists.

    As an interim fix I installed the FCKeditor plugin but now I note that my spell checker isn’t working. I also can’t use Viper Video Quicktags with that editor.

    I haven’t changed anything else with my setup, can anyone help me to figure out why this is happening and how I can fix it?
