• When I try to connect to Jetpack it simply reports that it has connected successfully but when I return to my dashboard I still get the Connect to Jetpack button as if connection failed. And I don’t get any stats. I looked at the debug link at the bottom and found this. Can anyone help me fix it:

[body] => {"error":"Communication error","error_description":"We were unable to make an XML-RPC request to your website. Please make sure that XML-RPC is turned on and that Jetpack is installed, activated and connected with your WordPress.com account. Jetpack Mechanic ??

Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1. Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2. Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4. Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5. Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.

    Thanks!

I don’t have that link. When I follow the Debug link I get the links for:
    known conflicts
    list
    support pages
    support forums
    xmlrpc
    jetpacks development mode
    advanced debug results

    Hi @marciokoko!

That’s okay! Let’s find another way to troubleshoot this.

Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

    Hi @marciokoko !

Could you check the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) on your dashboard’s Settings -> General page?

Jetpack is detecting that these are set to “https” but no SSL certificate is found, so that causes insecure errors when Jetpack tries to communicate with https://santiapps.com/xmlrpc.php

Let me know if we can help further!

I changed it to http. I still get the error.

    Hello?! Anyone?

I am having the same issue on a fresh WP install. Was watching this for solutions, but sans an answer, will just pull JetPack.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

@marciokoko I can’t seem to be able to access your site right now: I only get a default page:
    https://i.wpne.ws/kBoC

Did you switch to a different domain?

@wudman Could you follow the instructions I posted above to send us more details about your site?

    Thanks!
