Subscribe to products?

    Hi! I’m hoping I can get some clarity here. I’m about to open a new e-commerce site with WooCommerce. I don’t know where to start and have been reading a lot of the documentation so I am hoping I can get some direction or even know if this is possible.

    I’m going to have a few different categories for products such as pre-orders, out of stock / old designs, and future designs as well as the in stock items. I want people to be able to subscribe to the products they want or are interested in. Was hoping to use a button (i.e. a heart icon) but just a “subscribe to product” would be fine for the items they want to be notified about. The problem is, I don’t know where to start with this and I want to be able to email these specific people about the products they subscribe to such as when they are available or if they go on sale.

    Does this plugin do that? Or do you know of one that does if this doesn’t? Or is there documentation I can read up on that can help me get to my goal in this (and if there is, could I get a link)?

    Our plugin simply allows subscribing all customers to a single list if they make a purchase from your store. Our upcoming pro version will allow you to designate per-product lists so that customers can be subscribed to lists depending on which products they purchase.
