Shortcodes?

I just came across this plugin this evening, it seems very well made and almost does exactly what I’d like to achieve. I wondered if there was any possibility of adding a short code to use this functionality outside of a widget?

I have a Now page which outlines some things I’m doing this year and I’d like to include my Goodreads currently reading books on it within the main content of the page. Is this something you’d consider adding?
