• This plugin completely crashed my site after update. Couldn’t access WP admin so I had to deactivate plugin from cpanel.

Can you share what version of WordPress and WooCommerce you are running?

Also, please send us a list of the plugins you’re using and the active theme so we can investigate the issue.

We do our best to ensure compatibility with a fresh install of WordPress, WooCommerce and many common plugins, but there are situations where plugin conflicts or theme conflicts can cause unforeseen errors.

If you can share the details of your site, we can try to recreate the problem and address it.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home4/xxx/public_html/xxx.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-mailchimp/includes/class-ss-wc-mailchimp-plugin.php on line 445

    WooCommerce Version 3.0.5
    WooCommerce MailChimp Version 2.1.0

Also broke my site 6 days ago after updating, as with the opening poster. I was unable to access the site or wp-admin so had to disable the plugin via cPanel by renaming the folder.

This is due to installation on a version of PHP < 5.4

The plugin requires PHP 5.4 or later. We recommend at least PHP 5.6 as previous versions of PHP have reached end of life status and are no longer being supported or patched for security issues.

See here for actively maintained and supported PHP versions: https://php.net/supported-versions.php

We just pushed an update 2.1.1 which should fix this issue.
