  • no need to use functions.php in your child theme.
    the option to “run the snippet in the front end only” lets experiment with snippets without worry. if it breaks my website, the dashboard wld still be accessible and I can go back and deactivate the snippet in a Jiffy!

    I didn’t really think of using the front-end option to prevent site crashes, but it definitely makes sense, so well done on discovering that use!
