Social menu – adding text to same line

  • My social menu is at the bottom of my site as per standard “twenty seventeen”.
    ? I would like to add text on the same line. So there’d be 3 circle social menu links then text.
    I believe the site-info.php controls this .. but I’ve no idea what sort of code to add to have some text (and a URL).
    Or can I add code in the ‘customise’ (CSS) area.
    I have no knowledge of CSS code – but am very good at cutting and pasting!! If someone had a snippet I’d be most grateful!
