I got a notification that the theme had an update available. I am using a child theme as well. When I updated the theme, the main navigation menu disappeared. I was forced to go back to a backup of my site so that the menu would appear again. I have not made any theme adjustment to the main theme and am running a child theme with my adjustments. Is this a bug in the update?

Go To Dashboard -> Customize -> Theme Option -> Theme General Option -> Display side menu -> Select menu from here and save the changes.

    Thank You.

@weblizar_support, the main menu still does not appear when I saved the changes that you indicated. I was forced to go back to another backup of my site to get the main menu back.

    Hii muchosabor,

If you want to add side menu to the main menu then you have to choose the main menu with side menu option from the customizer.

    Hello adollkiss,

For more query please contact to weblizar.com

    Thanks.

I’m having this same issue, however I tried doing what Support suggested, and reselected the menus, and in the visible editor, it shows up fine. My primary menu is not showing up on the homepage at all now, after the theme update.

    Hello avidmktg,

    Sorry for the late reply.

For adding the primary menu you have to select the primary menu option from the dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus and save the changes and after that, you have to choose the main menu option from the customizer and save the changes.

    Thanks.
