• Hello,

I created my own template using TemplateToaster.
I am having trouble with the blog page on my website.

I would like to be able to better wrap text around my images. Now, the images just seem to be barely stuck in the text. I would like to be able to wrap the text up next to some of the images

I am having trouble with the spacing between some of the paragraphs. I create all the content in Microsoft Word. I then copy it into notepad. Then, I copy it into WordPress. As you can see, on the last few paragraphs of my blog entry, the spacing between the paragraphs is not consistent with the rest of the blog. How can I fix this?

    Thanks
    Tom

  • To have your text flow around an image, you need to select right- or left-alignment for the image in the Visual editor, which adds the class “alignright” or “alignleft” to the image, respectively.

Transferring text from Word to Notepad to WordPress can result in some interesting issues with layout. It looks like you just have an extra line break in between your last two paragraphs. In the Visual editor, put the cursor before the “A” in “As you can see” in the last paragraph, and hit the backspace key until you remove all the extra spaces/line breaks, then hit the Enter to add a single paragraph break. You can also fix that kind of thing with the Text tab of the editor to look at the raw code and see what got carried over from your copy-and-paste.

The best approach is to do your content composition in WordPress itself.
