    Hi, the plugin stopped working with the most recent update. I removed and tried to re install but upon activation I get the error

    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /public_html/web/wp-content/plugins/flexmls-idx/pages/portal-popup.php on line 41

    Please advise, thanks!

  • I’ve also reported this back on the 27th so hopefully they can get it fixed soon.

    Make sure your web host has at least PHP version 5.6 installed. I’ve seen a few other customers experience this and we found out that they’re using an old version of PHP.
    PHP should be updated by your web host, if they’re not updating it, this will cause performance and security issues.

    Requirements for best performance: Make sure you are using a current version of PHP on the server.
    Use at least version 5.6, every version below that is no longer supported – php.net/eol.php.
    WordPress is recommending PHP 7 – https://www.ads-software.com/about/requirements/
