Redirect to Review Order issue

  • Having a strange issue with Paypal Express:

    When you are logged into WordPress, the checkout with Paypal Express as guest (with CC number) works fine. It goes to Review order, and you can place the order from there with no problem.

    When NOT logged in, after you are redirected from the Paypal Express screen back to the site, it goes to the /cart page. It will not go to the “Review Order” step on /checkout.

    If I try to go to “/checkout” manually at that point, it tries to start the regular Woocommerce checkout process.

    Hmmm….okay, thanks for the feedback. We’ll look into this and get any necessary adjustments made in a 1.4.2 update ASAP!

    Can we download the previous versions somewhere?

    @aris747, they used to be available on the WordPress plugin directory page, but I’m not finding them on the new design.

    They are available on our GitHub repo: https://github.com/angelleye/paypal-woocommerce/releases

    If you revert back to PayPal for Woo 1.3.3, though, then you will also need to revert back to WooCommerce 2.6.14. You may rather use the PayPal Standard with WC 3.0 until you see our update that fixes this. Then you can re-enable the plugin and you’ll be back to where you want to be. We should have all this resolved soon. Working on it diligently now.

    Are you running the Polylang plugin, by chance?
