Shortcodes that are repaced with content have always worked within tabs. The plugin was designed specifically with this in mind. However if any of the shortcodes insert dynamic content via javascript that *can* cause issues.

Which plugins are being used to add the content inside the tabs?

It looks like the style of the tabs has been customised, but the tabby.css stylesheet is still present. How were the tab styles customised?

    Appreciate the prompt reply!

I’m using MapPress and Post Grid plugins for the content within the tabs.

I’m using a custom theme that overrides the tabby.css styles.

    Thanks again!

I will have a look at those plugins on a test installation to investigate whether I can reproduce the issue.

The method to overide the tab styles is outlined in the documentation. As it is possible to break the tab functionality with incorrect CSS rules, it is difficult to provide support for an installation where the instuctions to customise the styles has been deviated from, so that will need to be corrected.

It looks like the issue is that the post grid content is inserted via javascript, so for the tabs that are not visible at load time, the dimensions are not calculated correctly.

If there is a way to trigger the display of the post grid content via a callback, it might be possible to add some custom javascript to trigger this when specific tabs are clicked.

If this is possible, a custom add-on would need to be built specific to your site to implement the fix so this would be outside the scope of the free plugin support I am able to provide.

Roger that. Thanks for taking a look!

Just in case anyone else runs into this issue.

I got feedback from the Post Grid plugin support and turning off the Masonry setting will allow the posts to display currently within tabs, but you’ll lose the adaptive layout.
