• I have just started a website with very little content on it. I am currently using Simpleshift theme and Max Mega Menu. The problem I have having is that whenever I look at the website in mobile formats, I get two menu buttons: 1 that functions as I would like and 1 that does nothing but be an eyesore.

I have tried solutions I have found online like enabling the mobile menu toggle, which did not work, as well as posting code. However I am very new to this and nobody ever says where to put the code. I would appreciate tips or help towards getting rid of the 2nd menu on my site.

I have deleted all code I found online from my site so I have only what was created by the theme and plugins.

  • Hi Daniel,

Can you send me your website address? Which menu are you trying to get rid of? The issue I have found with the menu plugins overlays is that they tend to disregard the theme’s native settings, and will sit on several sections. Is there something in particular you are trying to achieve with the Max Mega Menu that the menu for the theme won’t do?

    Thanks,
    – Jacob
