Issue with static page

    I installed WP on a localhost. I use the Inspiro theme from WPZoom and Polylang, since I create a bilingual website (German/English).
    So far, most things work fine. However, since I created a static page with a homepage including posts some things work a bit strange when I switch between the different languages. The static page on the German website works fine using the urls https://localhost:8888 respectively https://localhost:8888/startseite. But when I switch to the English one I first get a page using the url https://localhost:8888/en/ that has the title ‘English’ and includes the text ‘Showing the single result’. The static page only appears when I click on the ‘home’ menu using the url https://localhost:8888/en/home/.
    I tried different things but it still doesn’t work. Any ideas?

    What is default language German or English? What is exactly the problem? You need to translate all the past and pages.
