Google Maps WD marker text colors

    I’m trying to complete a map in the free version (before
    I buy a licensed one) but the color of the text in the marker is not
    changable. I can’t see the text in the text box above the marker. Only
    when I select it with the mouse text becomes visible.
    How can this be changed/adjusted?
