Does the redirect to https use 301?

    Hi,

    Quick question – can you confirm that this plugin uses 301s to redirect to https? I have read a few questions/answers and not clear that this is still the case (previously you stated you use the htaccess file to rewrite, then later advised you no longer used this method)

    There are two redirects used, both 301 redirects. The default one is a redirect handled within WordPress. The .htaccess redirect you refer to is still there, but optional. I no longer use it by default because in a few cases the .htaccess redirect results in a redirect loop. But I recommend to use the .htaccess redirect, as it is faster.

    Ah, I’ve just found the settings and info on the site settings pages. Thanks! Worked great out the box.
