How to change or remove the “/portfolio-type/”

Hello all,

is there possible to remove the term: “portfolio-type” from the permalinks?

I would like to use the portfolio-types in a way to display different portfolios, but I would like to have the plain permalink: https://www.domain/example instead of https://www.domain/portfolio-type/example.

Also: is there a way to implement tags here ?
