Hi, I am working with Newsletter Plugin and email sign ups which are legitimate are going to spam. Have checked the MXtoolbox and site is not blacklisted in any way. What else can be done? thank you.

anyone else have this issue? Thanks. I read the FAQs but not sure they are talking about this and spam. Sounds more like Spam as in people trying to sign up who are spammers… thanks.

Hi the spam problem is usually due to the sending server blacklisted or the SPF records not setup. Ask you provider.

    A couple of articles:

    Hi Stefano,

    Thanks so much.

So, it seems that these are email addresses of people who signed up for the list but then the email newsletters to these email addresses are rejected saying – no such email exists…

Is this the same thing or something different?

    Thank you.

If the error is about non existent emails, you should simply delete them. Is not spam, they are wrong email addresses.

There is not only a single possible answer. Many your server ended in a black list or you SPF record in the DNS is not setup correctly (ask your provider for that).

Try to use a free delivery service, like mailjet, to see if using a different service to deliver emails than your own server resolve the spam problem.

See the documentation on https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com with some other tips and solutions about the spam issues.

    Stefano.
