I received this notice from the hosting company about our SSL certificate.

“The SSL certificate didn’t automatically renew because there were rules in the .htaccess file denying access to text files in public_html. These text files need to be publicly accessible in order for SSL certificates to automatically renew.

Can you review the rules in your .htaccess file to ensure public access to text files in public_html?”

Should I just disable the whole plugin or is there a setting I can disable first? This apparently happens every 3 months, so I’m hoping it’s just one setting and not the whole plugin.

    Hi @falconreid,
Do you have any of the firewall rules active?
Have you tried testing to see if one those is causing your issue? (you can try turning off all firewall rules and then checking if the issue goes away. If so, you will then need to test further until you find the exact rule causing it)
