Feature Request: Clear cache with plugin updates

I would like to see an option that will clear caches when plugins are added or updated — better yet if it could be an option tied to specific plugins. I have a specific problem with a very popular free plugin called WP-SpamShield that adds javascript to pages, and whenever it updates it causes problems with form submission on cached pages. I know now to manually clear cache whenever I update the plugins, but it would be nice if the process could be automated. (I found the same problem with a different anti-spam plugin, so it is not just the one plugin — but it probably would only be necessary for plugins which directly modify page content or display).
