NEW- Emails sent but not received HELP

Hello,

I must preface, I am not a tech person and stressing out very much.

We are new to the forum side of wordpress, we have had a site for quite a few years and recently updated everything- unknowingly damaging our SEO – but thats a different story. Now we are suddenly not receiving any email submissions from our contact page or per the contact button under each product. Noticed this problem after 2 weeks on minimal to no traffic and failure to receive multiple test emails. We also have no record of received submissions on our contact tool in the dash board.

I think the contact form is 4.6, have not yet updated to 4.7

Any idea what to do? We are lost and our web designer isn’t having much luck either. Can I entrust someone with the proper knowledge the information to attempt to fix it? Willing to out source this to a moderator who can go in and fix our problem/recover lost emails.
