Top Bar blocking footer links when box is minimized

    This is the site with the issue: ILS Automation

    I have Top Bar positioned in the footer area of the page across the entire site.

    Top Bar is great, but I notice that it seems to be blocking the links in the footer area when the subscription bar is minimized/collapsed, namely my site’s social media icon links that are aligned to the right side of the footer. The links work fine when Top Bar is not minimized. If I hide Top Bar’s visibility using Firebug or a browser code editor, the links are clickable. Any suggestions on what I can change so that those links are clickable?

    Hi Mimicplay,

    That actually looks to be a nasty bug in the Top Bar plugin which is only really noticeable when you have links close down to the bottom of a page. We’ll have to look into it in a bit more detail, so please allow us some time to do so.

    For now, please consider the following workaround which adds a minor bit of padding to your footer area.

    
#footer { padding-bottom: 45px; }

    We’ll push out an update once we’ve properly fixed this issue!
