Deleting Storefront Directory

Hello, because of the storefront update I can no longer log into my wp-admin. I have downloaded the new 2.2.2 version that will correct the problem. I have been advised to access my site via FTP and browse to /wp-content/themes and delete my storefront directory and then upload the new 2.2.2 version. My question is when I delete my current storefront directory will I lose all of my product I have loaded on my site and I have to start over or will everything stay intact?
