I just update the plugin and now there is “Turn on Explanations” on top right admin bar. I try to Turn On/OFF but I can not see the diferent in widget menu (Appearance). What is that function for?
    Thank you

Do you know how I can unsubscribe to it?

Can’t seem to figure it out.

Hi guys! The “Explanation” is a debug tool. When you turn it on in the front-end it provides more information. This was already buit into Custom Sidebars. It just did not have an easy way to activate it.

This is what it looks like when activated:

    I hope that helps!

    A better design would be:
    – provide a settings option to turn it on/off
    – name it ‘Custom Sidebars’ so that people know what it’s about, and put the ‘Turn on/off explanations’ in a submenu.

Thank you for your understanding ??

Thank you for the feedback! We are looking at improving the UI for this feature in the next version of Custom Sidebars. This will be helpful in the decision-making process.

    Hi Guys

    We fixed it in 3.0.7.1

Could you confirm? Does it work for you?

    Thank you in advance.

    Marcin

I do not know how to test version 3.0.7.1. It does not show as an update on my site.

One more vote for removing “Turn on explanations” from the top admin bar.

We made some tweaks to this feature. The name has changed and it is only available on the front end to the admin user. Thank you for the feedback.

Hi @jdailey, thank you very much for the change! ??
