    Hi,

I am looking into this plug-in in order to add to my WordPress endless scrolling for ALL of my posts. I don’t want to add a shortcode to each post as that would take forever.

I notice you have a lot of documentation with a lot of features. Alas, I cannot find how to do this most basic feature. I am sure I am missing something.

    Help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi @checklist,
WordPress uses a templating system so you wouldn’t be adding the shortcode to each individual post or page. You would add it to the template.

If you want to endless scroll your full posts you would need Ajax Load More + Previous Post addon

    Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks. But this is kinda of a wasted plugin then. Endless scrolling is mostly done on the post.

Wow, did you really just leave a 2 star review because my plugin doesn’t do exactly what you want it to do FOR FREE?

Please help me understand why you would do this?

You worded your question as if you wanted infinite scroll on your single blog posts.

If you just want infinite scroll for a post listing then you can simply for this example.

I ask you to please consider removing your review because I did not understand your initial question.

I do want it on a single post blog. Wanting to keep visitors reading more … infinite scrolling allows to automatically load a new post once the visitor reaches the end of the post … etc. etc.

This is what basic infinite scrolling does. Loading more and more post excerpts on a category or author page is not that interesting (but of course some will want it).

I’m surprised to hear JetPack offers infinite scrolling of single posts. I’d like to see the results you get.

So, since JetPack is already working for you do you think you needed to tear down my plugin with a 2-star review? A plugin I’ve spent thousands of hours developing, designing and maintaining.

In your initial post you said “Help would be appreciated. Thanks!”

Your thanks was a 2 star review about functionality the FREE plugin doesn’t even offer.
