    Hi,

I want to remove the dotted line that shows under images, also, when I add images and want them to link to ‘custom url’ they become very small in the mega menu and only show at a larger size when linked to ‘none’.

You can see the first issue under ‘us’ in the website and the second issue under ‘services’…I’d like to link to pages but can’t as the images shrink drastically.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

The menu is picking up residual styling from your theme. Please see this page for more details on residual styling: https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/removing-residual-styling/

To fix this you will need to remove this ‘main-navigation’ class from the page source: https://screencast.com/t/UvhzamZA

    Hi,

I tried that and it had no effect, the menu images still shrank unless linked to ‘none’ and the lines were still there.

Is there a way to remove the lines using css? The image size and not linking is a bigger problem …perhaps someone can help! By the way, image does not shrink if linked to url and only in one column but it shrinks if in two or more columns.

I would like to use the images under ‘services’as links but I can’t do that at present. I could add buttons below but that takes up too much space. Do you have any ideas?

Image widget does not work, so I’ve been using visual editor. You can see the problem under the ‘blog’ section where I have posted the same full width image using image in widget and visual editor

    Thanks
    Rosie

    Hi Rosie,

I’m still seeing the main-navigation class being output. Please can you check you’ve removed it correctly, you should find it in the themes header.php file.

Yes, That is because removing it had no effect and I did not want to alter the theme files if it had no effect. You could see the shrunk images under blog but I have now removed them because it looked bad.

    Best wishes,

    Rosie

    HI,

I made the changes you suggested again and you can see that both issues are still there…I re-inserted the image linked to my home page under ‘blog’.

    What do you suggest?

    Thanks

    Hi Rosie,

I’m still seeing the main-navigation class here:

Please can you double check your edits to header.php, then check the page source to confirm the main-navigation class has been removed.

You are correct, I thought I had to remove the lines apart from that line (from reading your help doc) so I kept that line in!

I’ve removed and all is now perfect. I’ve added my review. Thanks for this amazing plugin.

    Thank you.
