• Hi. I;ve noticed that some of my sites are forwarding from non-existant pages (and without existing 301’s’) to an existing page. For example, when i enter example.com/b on some sites, I”m forwarded to example.com/blog. This is all good for most of the cases. One of my sites has continually been suspended due to the redirecting of the /b to /blog page. Its the simplest site ever, with a home page and a blog page. The host and i have both been digging into the issue, finding nothing in particular that is causing the huge number of redirects. I’ve installed Eggplant redirect in an attempt to grab the redirection and forward it normally, as I wasn’t sure what was controlling the redirect before I installed Eggplant. The host tech team is trying to help me with this, but I’m getting very little information as to what is causing the redirects in the first place. My first question is what is causing these redirects in my wordpress sites? Is it a possible plugin or is something else going on to redirect the partial page names to forward to a real page? Thank you in advance for any help with this!
