    The slider element sometimes changes to display:none, so the slider disappears.

    At first I thought it was the ‘Multiple Slider Feature’ in Basic Settings, when I unchecked ‘Enable Multiple Slider Function on Edit Post/Page’, the element disappeared because the slider element was changed to display:none, when I checked it again, it became display:block, and was showing again.

    But then it did it again, so it seems to be independent of that setting, but I can’t figure out why it’s happening, and it happens intermittently.

    I’ve temporarily solved this problem by adding the styling:
    #foto_slider_featured {display:block !important;}

    Also, it seems that other settings in Basic Settings don’t hold either, unless I add them to the styling with the ‘!important;’ setting.

    Hello @jamminjames

    Thanks for writing to us.

    “Enable Multiple Slider” option is for to create multiple sliders in smooth slider. If Enable Multiple Slider option is disabled then you can not create multiple sliders.

    Can you please provide me the URL of page where the slider is embedded, so that I will also take look into the scenario and try to fix it.

    Waiting for your response.
    Thank you for all your patience.

    Best Regards,
    Sagar.

    It turns out it was a conflict with the theme. Working fine now, even without the #foto_slider_featured {display:block;} setting.

    Sorry for the false alarm, and thank you for the quick response!

    In case you’re interested in how I have it styled, check it out here: https://testsite.humortimes.com/

    I have it set up with the image filling the whole slider, and the post title on top. Looks nice that way, I think.

    One problem I’d like to address, and maybe you have an answer: If the images are too large vertically, they are cut off with the “overflow: hidden;” attribute, but when the page first loads, the larger images show below the slider for a second. Is there any way to avoid that?

    Thanks again for a nice plugin.
