Can’t Log In To Password Protected Page When Wordfence Is Activated

    Hi,

    I am getting a “you are temporarily locked out” message when trying to log into a password protected page. I am DEFINITELY using the correct password. If I deactivate Wordfence the password works. If I reactivate it I get this error. (It’s just a normal wordpress password protected page).

    I’ve played with some of the settings re: password and login attempts but it hasn’t resolved the issue. This is the URL: https://globalfreedommovement.org/resource-library/

    I noticed there was another post here with someone having the same error. I posted here on a new thread as per guidelines.

  • Hi @earthbefree,

    Does the “locked out” page display a reason?

    Do you see a corresponding request being “Blocked” or “Blocked By Firewall” on the Wordfence –> Live Traffic page?

    Have you tried switching the Firewall to Learning Mode?

    Could you please share a screenshot of the page?
