    Hi there,

I encountered this wonderful looking website and want to know if its design is based on WordPress Theme?

Things I really liked about this site are:

    1. Menu buttons are neatly displayed in header area.

    2. When you go to single pages, header photo and title changes.

    3. Responsive (Of course).

    4. Simple and easy to wonder around.

Do you recognize it as one of the WordPress Theme based design? If so, please let me know the name of theme. Or if you know themes which have those qualities listed above, I’d love to know which one that will be.

Thanks in advance for your time and kind response.

No, it’s not using WordPress. It’s always difficult to define functional requirements, but I recommend narrowing down what you want as much as you can. Then you can search the www.ads-software.com theme and plugin repository for that functionality.

I think most themes released in the past 2 years are responsive.

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you so much for your super quick response! I wonder how can you tell it this soon?

Great tips. My plan is: hiring web designer/developer and ask them to build a website close to WordPress Themes I like or even using one so they don’t have to work on it from the scratch (I understand that not many people like second method, though). It’s just I’d like to have a beautiful website done by professional(s). The thing is I’m on a budget so seeking the way to make it easier for designers/developers. It’s all about putting money or time & effort, right?

Thank you again for your amazing support. Now I can get some sleep!

It is about money/ time & effort, but even a great designer and developer could build something not to your expectations. It’s worth spending time in the ‘exploration’ stage, which is where you’d define your requirements. This isn’t something that the designer or developer does for you. They may help you, but ultimately it’s down to you to define them.

That is so true Andrew. We need to work with designers/developers side by side, inspiring each other. I guess I’m a bit inpatient when it comes to something like research. There’re a tons of amazing WordPress Themes out there, and every single one is unique. I’d look through them, got overwhelmed, and ending up finding or deciding anything.

One thing is there’re so many talented people as you mentioned, though it’s hard to describe what is in my mind (Yes, I have a quite vivid picture in my head!). Another thing is it must use two languages (English and Japanese). Especially using Japanese makes it way complicated. It’s like this. If I hired someone from outside of Japan, I’d be the one dealing with Japanese part of the website. And if I hired someone from Japan, I’ll be handling English part. One of my friends is recommending to learn coding. Making some words in bold is as far as I can go.

I respect your warm support. Try not be grumpy. And make a classy, tasteful website.

    Thank you!
