• I am getting “Your server terminated the import process” each time when I run import, but some of my items is added to the woocommerce products, very confusing! And it just doesn’t work with images.

  • Hi @maxwake sorry you’re experiencing this issue. This seems to be moreso a problem with your server, than the plugin itself.

Here’s a link to WP All Import’s documentation regarding this error, and how to go about troubleshooting it: https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/troubleshooting/terminated-imports/

    Basically:
    1) Try lowering the amount to records proceed each iteration. This can be done in the ‘Advanced Options’ panel when importing.
    2) If no luck, even with setting 1 import per iteration, then try contacting your server provider about the problem.

The link provided above goes into more detail about solving this.
    Good luck!

    Hi Maxwake,

Switching servers changed everything for me. WPallimport and so much else works fantastic now. My old server is very well known and respected (rhymes with ‘fomfast susiness glass’) but simply couldn’t handle wordpress well.

I was having the same problem and it was very frustrating. I received the same error consistently and kept lowering the records (all the way down to “1”). It ran very slowly and would stop and I’d have to rerun it again and again.

I’d cut the csv’s in half over and over and it would take DAYS for one import which meant WEEKS for multiple imports.

Then I switched to a wordpress optimized server – EVERYTHING CHANGED. Imports are a breeze. What took days before takes less than half an hour now – no joke. Unrelated frustrations vanished as well.

I really hope this message will help others experiencing these difficulties.

So, to anyone reading, make sure your server is optimized for wordpress. Things get so much better with the right host, not just wpallimport, so much more.

hi maxwake could put me through how you setup importation from server in the first place?
