This isn’t anything wrong with the plugin – so far the plugin is fantastic and the built in custom templating is awesome! Aces job on this.

I have a search thing though on a site home page, I want the user to be able to type in the zip code, hit enter, it moves to a new page where the plugin search is and the wpsl shortcode grabs the get variable and executes the search.

So far I’m working on my own custom thing, I’ve already got the input field populating with the zip code, but I need to execute the search when it comes from the home page which I’d theoretically do by checking for another get variable.

If there’s something already built in however, that would be nice. I just didn’t find anything here or in the plugin documentation on the dev site.

    Thanks!

There’s an add-on that handles this automatically, but if you want to use your own code, then it’s easier if you open a support ticket here, attached a txt file with the code you’re using now, and I will take a look at how to make it work.

I just bought the add-on. Thanks!
