Adding site in network admin is not working

  • When I am adding site through network admin, it adds the site in the admin but when I am trying to visit dashboard, i get error “HTTP Error 404.0 – Not Found” it shows the above path “https://tejas.vaswan.org/wp-admin/” when I see the subdomain folder there is no file/folders added during the site creation.

    Here are the steps I did:
    Installed fresh wordpress Multisite in the root folder – “https://vaswan.org”
    Here my first site workds fine.
    Then I complete network setup and network setting
    I installed Themes and Plugins
    so far all working fine.

    Now I want to add subdomain based site- “https://tejas.vaswan.org”
    So first I added a subdomain on my hosting account
    Then I created the site in Network admin and I see this problem.

    Hosting Information : My hosting is windows based

    No, you do not need to create subdomains manually, you need a wildcard subdomain. Search in google for instructions on how to make a wordpress multisite subdomain setup.
