    Hi,

Customers are not able to enter credit card information on checkout page. There is no way to type anything. This has not been a problem before, this issue is new since recent update. I do not have a woocommerce account currently that offers support and I am not willing to pay for one based on the service that I have recieved in the past. Please help!

    Thanks

Also the Paypal option is not working either – getting the following warning – Oops, there was a temporary payment error. Please try another payment method or contact us to complete your transaction.

Update – if you refresh the checkout page then the credit card information can be entered. Obviously customers would not know to do this. Please help as we are losing sales due to this issue.

Same Here… I submitted a ticket 4 days now as mine is rejecting every card saying there’s an error. I got a response from of their “woo Ninja” two days now asking for login info for the temporary user account so they can take a look.

Two god damn days and apparently they still can’t fix the issue. Woocommerce has the slowest tech service I’ve every encountered, it’s like living in the 1990s. Just horrible, but I’m still waiting.

    same here.

Yes, very frustrating. Please let me know if they resolve your issue.

Okay, guys, I got my issue resolved and sad to say Woocommerce was zero help in this process, Paypal support helped me resolved it.

Obviously, make sure all your plugins, Woocommerce, and WordPress running the latest versions.
If the error message you’re receiving is 92201 or 92203, then it’s a Dynamic Descriptor issue. Here is the fix:

    1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard
    2. Woocommerce settings and click the checkout tab
    3. click Braintree (credit card)
    4. Scroll down to Dynamic Descriptors and make sure those fields are blank
So the Name, Phone, and URL field MUST BE blank, if you have anything in those fields, erase them then click save and that’s it.

It took me 7 days of unnecessary back and forth with lame ass woo ninjas and they are giving me bad information about filling out this section, don’t listen to them. Hopefully, this resolves your situation. I will now change my review of the plugin as it was never the problem, but the incompetent techs at Woocommerce.

    4.

Thanks for the response and glad you got your problem resolved! Unfortunately that did not fix my issue. The dynamic descriptors were already blank.

Sorry, you’re the info wasn’t helpful. It’s unbelieve how slow Woocommerce is on getting back to ticket requests.

Hey just curious, what version of Woocommerce, Paypal Powered by Braintree, and Werdpress are you running? Can you post that here? Also, have you tried disconnecting Braintree then reconnecting?

    (@sscoot)

    Running:
    Wordpress 4.8
    Woocommerce 3.0.8
    Paypal Powered by Braintree 2.0.2

I have tried disconnecting and that has not worked either.

    thanks again!

I already have submitted a ticket to Woocommerce several days ago and so far there has been no fix. We have concluded that this is not a them or other plugin conflict. Unfortunately we are still losing sales.

    Ticket# #587562

I’ve just been sticking to 1.2.7. So maybe try to downgrade.

I have downgraded to 1.2.5 as a temporary solution. It appears that since our products are free and we only charge for shipping and handling the credit card form is malfunctioning when the customers enters shipping details which creates a charge amount on checkout page. Version 1.2.5 does not have this issue. We have had support ticket with woocommerce over a week now and still no resolution.

    Hey @sscoot,

Can you confirm all WooCommerce plugins are updated and try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen or Storefront to see if this resolves the issue?
