• There used to be a Theme Compatibility option for the Hide Backend tool, which fixes 404 errors. I’m getting the Page not found error when I go to an admin link directly before I log in (e.g. Jetpack Site Stats – /wp-admin/admin.php?page=stats) – if I log in and go there afterwards, it’s fine. I can’t see the Theme Compatibility option any more, is there a setting I’m missing or is there a way to fix this?

    Theme Compatibility = Redirection

So the former Enable Theme Compatibility setting is now Enable Redirection.

Also the behavior of this feature changed a little bit. The change in behavior is documented in the 5.3.7 Changelog.
