HTTP Error 500 updating plugins
-
Recently I received this error when updating Revolution Slider and apparently there was a compatibility error with a lower php that they fixed. However, today I tried to update a SEO plugin and Backup Buddy. First, I update Backup Buddy and all was fine, then I went to the SEO plugin and received an “Internal Server Error”. I restored the website and tried again. This time I tried to update just Backup Buddy and it update yet when I went to logout, I received the subject error.
After reading up on this, I am more confused than ever because I cannot fathom all the plugins I am trying to update having conflicts and if so how the heck do I find that out? Very frustrating and never experienced this onslaught of errors before. I can keep restoring the website and update the plugins yet that is not a pleasant option and I cannot access my dashboard although while I can see the website and it shows me as still logged in, when I go to the dashboard I get the subject error. Thank you
