Shortcode stopped working in latest WP update

    Hi, since WP has updated to 4.8, the shortcode no longer works within a text widget…

    Does anyone know of a way around this?

    I must add that the issue persists when using the SiteOrigins Page Builder… neither Editor nor Text displays any shortcode input… it seems to hide the content.

    Hi, Sorry for this delayed reply. We have tested the plugin and it works fine on our end. As you might have noticed that WordPress Text Widget has been updated and a visual editor has been added there. So, pasting a shortcode there on a visual editor tab will not work. You need to paste the shortcode on the text tab. You can find the text tab in the top-right corner of the text widget.
