Unsupported PHP versions & upcoming releases

  • Hi Pepe, tks for your great plugin.

    My server have lots of old and newer websites in it, and changing to PHP7 is not sustainable for now. This way the server is running PHP 5.6.

    I disabled the plugin due to this error:

  • @andre2009, unfortunately, a small PHP7-only expression crept into 4.2.x that prevents execution on older PHP versions. If you are able to edit PHP files, the solution is described on GitHub. A fixed version will be released later today.

    Fixed in 4.2.1.

    thanks for your plugin!
    I just updated the new version. Thereafter the website appears white and does not load. For now I need to deactivate the update to keep going.
    (excuse my imprecise language, I don’t have the adequate words)
    Any ideas what the problem may be?

    @praeposition: Do you know how to access your servers PHP error log? There should be some information there that will give me an idea what the problem is.

    Addendum: Since you read German, this link should help. It’s a bit long in the tooth, but the information should still be valid.
